Side is a tourist resort located in the Antalya province of Turkey on the coast of the Turkish Riviera, but this is a resort that appears to have a bit of an identity crisis. Side has some of the most notable ruins of Asia Minor, such as its colossal amphitheatre and the Temple of Apollo; it also possesses some fantastic beaches, a pretty little fishing harbour and quaint narrow streets. However, Side’s principle industry of fishing and its quaint narrow streets have long since been turned over to the trawling for tourists.
